Ingredients

Bars:

  • 1/2 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup almond meal/ground almonds

  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 bananas, mashed

  • 1/2 cup applesauce

  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey

Drizzle:

  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp almond milk

Directions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine oats, almond meal, flaxseed, cinnamon, and salt.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix vanilla, mashed bananas, applesauce, peanut butter, and maple syrup.

  3. Combine Mixtures: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.

  4. Bake: Spread the mixture into a 9x9 baking dish, pressing it down evenly. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the edges start to brown.

  5. Add Drizzle: Melt chocolate chips with almond milk and drizzle over the cooled bars. Chill in the fridge to set.
