Ingredients
Bars:
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup almond meal/ground almonds
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 bananas, mashed
1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
Drizzle:
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp almond milk
Directions
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, combine oats, almond meal, flaxseed, cinnamon, and salt.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix vanilla, mashed bananas, applesauce, peanut butter, and maple syrup.
Combine Mixtures: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Bake: Spread the mixture into a 9x9 baking dish, pressing it down evenly. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the edges start to brown.
Add Drizzle: Melt chocolate chips with almond milk and drizzle over the cooled bars. Chill in the fridge to set.
