DISCOVER FOODS THAT HAVE BEEN SHOWN TO POSSESS CANCER FIGHTING PROPERTIES

Scientists are working hard to understand how certain phytonutrients within food (and they all happen to be plants or mushrooms) affect cancer cells. Sometimes these nutrients prevent normal cells from becoming cancer cells, sometimes they block the growth of tumors, and sometimes they actually promote cancer cell death, called apoptosis. Many times these powerful nutrients boost our immunity by increasing our own Natural Killer (NK) cells to directly fight off cancer cells. Whichever way these plant-based foods work to prevent or help fight cancer, there is no down-side to maximizing the power of the food you eat.
