Vegan athletes are leading in endurance sports and even weightlifting, but anyone who is active can benefit from a plant-based diet.  Low-fat whole food plant-based nutrition comprising of whole grains, legumes, fruits, and vegetables, provides the ideal fuel for any physical activity.  These foods allow for a speedy recovery, unlike high-fat and animal-based diets.
